As the Zimbabwe Exemption Permits (“ZEPs”) were not extended when they expired on December 31, 2021, holders are now on a 12 month grace period to migrate to other visa options. During this time, they will be permitted to continue to stay in South Africa on the conditions of their expired ZEPs and to start the application process for a relevant visa. To ensure continued availability of these resources, it is important for businesses and employers to have a clear understanding of the options available. Please join professionals from Fragomen Africa’s team for this informative update. Topics to be covered include: - Status of holders of expired ZEPs in the Republic
- Available visa options in terms of South African Immigration Act (Act # 13 of 2002)
- Action to undertake in case of not migrating to other visa options or in cases of 12month grace period being short. We hope you can join us.
